| FAQS |
|
| |
1. How do I get started?
First, call us at (847) 603-4675 to discuss your individual requirements. Once we have tailored a custom accounting package for you, there are a few simple steps to getting started:
1. We'll send you an engagement letter that outlines what we are going to do for you. You sign this and return it to us with the first month's payment.
2. You complete a simple questionnaire about your business so that we may set up your account accurately.
3. You send us your set-up source documents and your QuickBooks or Peachtree file (if any).
4. You are all set - your bookkeeping manager will contact you to schedule your setup interview and will begin to handle your accounting and bookkeeping! |
| Back to Top |
2. What if I need "catch-up" accounting?
Most businesses are a few months behind in their bookkeeping when they come to us. That is precisely why they need us - because it is difficult to stay on top of your books and run a demanding business! It's simple - you send us the source documents (bank statements, credit card statements, etc.) for the missing months, and your bookkeeping manager will take it from there, catching you up and getting you current so you have an accurate picture of your business finances |
| Back to Top |
3. Wouldn't I be better off hiring an in-house bookkeeper?
In most cases, no. To hire an in-house bookkeeper, first you must find that person, check their credentials, negotiate a salary, hire and train them, and manage them. That can be very expensive both in time and money for a business owner. You must also provide office space, a desk, a computer, and software for them to use. You incur payroll tax expenses, vacation and sick time, and the cost of other benefits for that employee. If the person you hire is part-time, you must manage their hours and will only have access to them when they are at work. If they go on vacation, get sick, or leave your employ, you may have a large gap in your accounting and payroll. Furthermore, in some cases, there can be security concerns when only one person has access to all your business financial information, data, bank accounts, statements, and checks.
Our clients find that our affordable and efficient accounting services, combined with the continuity, security, and reliability of working with an outsourced accounting solution, are a far better value than hiring an in-house person. |
| Back to Top |
4. How much does it cost?
Our services are billed at an hourly rate determined by the nature of the work involved. We are committed to staying within your allotted budget you are never surprised by a huge, unexpected bill. We'll tailor an accounting package and price based on your needs. We will design an accounting solution specifically for you. Please call us to discuss your particular needs at (847) 603-4675 |
| Back to Top |
5. What about security?
We utilize state-of-the-art security and anti-fraud measures on par with major financial institutions. This has worked so well that we have never had a single incident to give our clients concern! In fact, we guarantee that your financial information and data is far more secure with us than it would be when handled in-house with bookkeeping personnel and minimal security measures in place |
| Back to Top |
6. How do I get started with payroll?
All we need is your company and employee information, and payroll history (if any) for this year. This process is quick and easy. Call us to discuss this need. We partner with several payroll companies to bring your company affordable and reliable payroll solutions. |
| Back to Top |
7. Can I switch payroll provider’s mid-year?
Yes! As long as you have records of your payroll history, you can switch at any time. |
| Back to Top |
8. Will the payroll information be entered into my accounting software?
Yes! We will enter your entire payroll data into your QuickBooks or Peachtree file so that all your information is in one place. |
| Back to Top |
9. I am a small CPA /Bookkeeping firm? Will outsourced bookkeeping work for me?
Yes. It will work perfectly fine. As a matter of fact it is much easier to outsource when you are smaller, as you have direct control over the work. We work with many small accounting firms and you can be assured that we give same level of care and attention to all our clients irrespective of their size. |
| Back to Top |
10. Is there a fixed cost per month?
Yes/No depending upon the service you choose to use. |
| Back to Top |
11. How does it affect our existing bookkeeping set-up?
We will work with you to understand your needs and provide an optimum solution to streamline your process |
| Back to Top |
12. We are not computer experts. Will you provide technical help for FREE?
Yes. We definitely do.something |
13. Can I do a bookkeeping trial before I start?
YES. We provide an absolutely No-obligation FREE trial of our services. Take advantage of our FREE trial offer and try before you buy. |
| Back to Top |
14. How will you make sure your bookkeeping service works right for us?
Before we start to do anything we go through the following standard operating procedure. Identify the areas that can be outsourced, do a pilot project on how it will be done, iron out all the potential problem areas and get a correct working process and get it going. It is not the end there, we continually look out for improvisation and suggest the same to you and take it on from there.
Our experience has helped us to establish the procedure already and so the time taken to set up this process is quick and fast. |
| Back to Top |
15. How do we start with you?
Please email/call us; we will get you set up in a few hours. |
| Back to Top |
16. We are a small company and we might need work only on a part-time basis? Is this possible?
Yes. We work with many small companies and we can arrange to work only on part-time basis. |
| Back to Top |
17. Would I need any technical staff?
The whole purpose of outsourcing is to save cost. All that is required at your office is to use an administrative person to scan documents, save it and then send the saved file to us. We process the information for you and send it across to you. |
